TheAttorneys LLP was founded in 2012 with the vision of building a full-service law firm that would offer comprehensive legal services across key practice areas, including corporate law, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), regulatory compliance, litigation and arbitration, intellectual property rights (IPR), and tax structuring. From its early days, the firm aimed to provide strategic counsel to domestic companies and businesses looking to establish and expand their presence in India. The firm’s ability to offer a diverse range of legal solutions made it a trusted advisor to clients across various industries.

As the firm evolved, TheAttorneys recognized the emerging needs of specific sectors and gradually expanded its expertise into niche industries such as Media, Broadcasting, Internet, Technology, and Sports (MBITS), insurance, telecom, and infrastructure. These sectors presented unique legal challenges that required specialized knowledge, and the firm positioned itself as a key player in delivering tailored solutions to meet the specific demands of businesses operating within these industries.

As the tech industry boomed, TheAttorneys expanded further by opening an office in Bengaluru, India’s technology hub. The firm also enhanced its cross-disciplinary approach, creating collaborative teams across offices to offer tailored, multi-faceted solutions.

In a major milestone, TheAttorneys took its expertise to the global stage with the launch of its London office. The firm strengthened its reputation as a bridge between India and global business hubs, assisting international clients in navigating complex cross-border transactions and legal matters.

The COVID-19 pandemic brought unprecedented challenges for businesses across sectors. TheAttorneys swiftly adapted, providing agile legal services that helped clients manage disruptions, navigate labor and contract disputes, and handle corporate restructurings.
