There are recognitions that arrive as acknowledgements of a career — and there are those that carry the weight of an entire profession’s regard. The honour conferred upon our Managing Partner, Ms. Anku Khanna, at the SILF & Society of Legal Professionals (SLP) Legal Conclave 2026 belongs firmly in the latter category.
On 18th April 2026, Ms. Khanna was recognised under the Nari Shakti – Women Power initiative — a programme dedicated to honouring Lady Managing Partners of law firms across India. The recognition was conferred at the inaugural session of the Conclave, held at Hotel The Lalit, New Delhi, in the distinguished presence of Hon’ble Justice Manmohan, Judge, Supreme Court of India, and Mr. Chetan Sharma, Senior Advocate & Additional Solicitor General of India. Few platforms in the Indian legal fraternity carry greater institutional gravitas than this.
About the SILF-SLP Legal Conclave 2026
The Conclave was organised jointly by the Society of Indian Law Firms (SILF) and the Society of Legal Professionals (SLP), under the theme “Justice to All – Accessible and Affordable.”SILF is the apex body of law firms in India, established in 2000, and is internationally recognised by the International Bar Association (IBA), the Union Internationale des Avocats (UIA), and LAWASIA. Its conclaves bring together the foremost voices of the Indian legal profession to deliberate on reforms, access to justice, and the evolving role of law firms in India’s development.
The Nari Shakti initiative, unveiled at this edition of the Conclave, was conceived with a clear purpose: to formally acknowledge the contributions of women who lead India’s law firms — a cohort whose influence on the profession has grown significantly but whose recognition has not always kept pace. In a field defined by precedent and tradition, naming and celebrating women in the highest positions of law firm leadership is itself a meaningful act.
What This Recognition Represents
For Ms. Khanna, this recognition is not an isolated moment — it is a reflection of a career built on rigour, vision, and an unwavering commitment to the rule of law. As Managing Partner of TheAttorneys, she has consistently brought a standard of excellence to the firm’s practice that has shaped not only its reputation but the quality of counsel it delivers to every client.
To be introduced to the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour in the inaugural session of a national legal conclave — alongside a cohort of distinguished Lady Managing Partners from across the country — is a distinction that carries institutional weight well beyond the moment itself. It places Ms. Khanna among a group of professionals who are actively reshaping what leadership in Indian law looks like.
It is also a recognition of the broader shift underway in the profession. India’s legal landscape is witnessing what many have described as a feminine surge — women increasingly occupying roles as senior advocates, managing partners, and institutional leaders. The Nari Shakti initiative is, in part, a formal acknowledgement of that shift by the profession itself.
A Note From TheAttorneys

Ms. Khanna’s recognition at the SILF-SLP Conclave is a moment of immense pride — not only for her, but for every member of the team whose work contributes to the standard this firm upholds.
This recognition is a reflection of Ms. Khanna’s dedication to the practice — and of the team at TheAttorneys that works alongside her every day. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Ms. Anku Khanna on this honour, and look forward to continuing to uphold the values that made it possible.
